Department of Computer Science and Engineering student kanishka Sahu awarded with “Child Youngest Scientist Award of India "


Proud moment for Department of Computer Science & Engineering came, when Kanishka Sahu Third year student was awarded with child youngest scientist for the innovation of P.B.D Robot that is also known as a planted bomb deactivating system which is currently in the prototype version. The main purpose of this robot is to defuse the planted bomb without direct human interaction. 

For this Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath awarded him with the child youngest scientist award of India for his innovation in Lucknow. Kanishka previously got First Rank in Northern Indian Science Fair at the National science center New Delhi. He also got the First rank in the State level Science Fair in Ghaziabad and awarded by the director of the Rajya Vigyan Shiksha Sansthan. 

Vice-chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala Dr. BS Ghuman congratulated the student as well as to the Department and gave a token of appreciation to Kanishka. Dr. B.S. Ghuman also gave a message to the students of the university to actively participate in the research project and ensure Kanishka for any help from the university regarding his projects. Dr. Raman Maini Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department congratulated Kaniska Sahu for his achievement and appreciated the efforts of all the faculty members. He encourages the students to do more such projects as a team member. Dr. Abhinav Bhandari, Dr. Nirvair Neeru and Er. Navdeep Kanwal were also Present there during the occasion.
