100 PERCENT PLACEMENT ACHIEVED AT DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING,PUNJABI UNIVERSITY, PATIALA

Students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering once again achieved 100 Percent Placements with Multiple offers ranging up to 12.4 Lacs, with average package ranges of 5 lacs. Industrial Tie-ups with Multinational companies like Infosys has helped students and faculty members of the Department to design the curriculum according to the exact need of the companies. For this Faculty members got learning sessions from Industry itself. Speaking at the Felicitation event for Students Dr.Raman Maini said Our Department is constantly in touch with the Industry to cater to their demands as technology improvements happen on a daily basis. For this Department has introduced Programming with Python, Programing on the Internet of Things Lab, Machine Learning, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence in curricula. Various Preparation activities for Placements have started much earlier in this regard mock tests, Language ability, Aptitude, Body language, etc. has helped students in targeting their dream company.

Speaking at the Moment many Students Expressed Happiness and thanked Faculty members of the department. Students said the Healthy Environment of Punjabi University helped them in Clearing All Placement Rounds of Placement Activities. Around 35 + Companies have visited for Placement activities which include prominent companies like Infosys, New Gen, SAP LABS, Quark, and Future First. Many Companies are still in touch with the Placement cell and are planning to come for Placement. Dr.Raman Maini also thanked all faculty members for mentoring Students as their own child and said he is always ready for the upbringing stature of the Department in terms of Quality Education.
